Welcome to the home of The Way… Series! This website contains the properly formatted, most up-to-date, and edited versions of the series. You can visit the "Download" link above to download a zipped file of each book. If you prefer a chapter format then head to fanfiction.net.
I will caution people who are new to the series to not click on all the above links right away because you will likely end up spoiling yourself. New readers should not look at the "Timeline" until you have, at the very least, read all of Book One. It's meant more as a refresher than a primer. I created it while writing Resurgence so that would be the ideal time to look at it.
The link to Doukeshi's artwork will take you to her deviantArt gallery, specifically the index of all her The Way... artwork. Perhaps only one of the pictures in and of itself could be a spoiler; be aware that Doukeshi's comments once you click on a specific picture itself could reveal more than you want to know. I wouldn't recommend going to her gallery until you've finished Future.
I'm not big on giving warnings that I feel ruin the story's potential twists. So, if you're the type of person who simply must be warned, then by all means, read them. But they are not exhaustive by any measure and only hit the touchy subjects.
Now pull up a chair, grab a drink, and settle in for a long read because this series is an epic saga in every sense of the word. And when you're done I'd love to hear your thoughts, comments, reactions, and answer any questions.

BOOK ONE – complete, warnings
The four stories that compose Book One are what I consider a self-contained story arc; they are what I originally conceived for the series. It was supposed to be "done" once I finished World Is. But things didn't exactly work out that way. Each story flows directly into the next and so I strongly encourage everyone to start at the beginning.
The Way the World Ends: And here they stood, in the ruins of the world they’d fought ten long years to protect, the war lost before they even knew it had begun.
The Way the Future Changes: Teal’c ground his teeth together in frustration and impotent rage. He would not lose her now, here, after everything they had been through.
The Way the Journey Goes: This wasn't home anymore, it wasn't a sanctuary. It was hostile territory.
The Way the World Is: Separately, he wouldn’t assume that they were the missing SG-1 members. It would just be a fluke, a coincidence, pictures depicting look-a-likes. But together, that was too much of a coincidence.
BOOK TWO – complete, warnings
After completing the fourth instalment of Book One I was nagged with an unfinished feeling. That feeling spawned the creation of Book Two - after I spent a bit of time figuring out what exactly an entire second book would be about. Where Book One was thought about for a year, Book Two got perhaps a couple of weeks. It is strongly recommended that you read Book One first.
The Way: Interlude: Checking in with the characters six months after World Is, this is the prologue to Book Two.
The Way the Universe Shifts: The last thing Carter needed were her nightmares made flesh once again.
The Way of Resurgence: They’d already started to crumble. If he left things undone and unsaid for very long he’d seal their ruin.
The Way: Coda: Picking up after Resurgence and spanning several months, this is how the characters deal with much of the fallout.
